The last Saturday of August was spent at a football game… Or is it futbol… Or is it both?!  Well for us, it was both!  We started the day at the BYU football game and ended the day at the Real Salt Lake soccer game.  What a day of sports it was!

The BYU game was so much fun and they came out with a win, so we were excited about that!  They played Portland State and the final score was 20-6.  We’ve got season tickets and this was the first of many games to come this season!  Even though it was INSANELY hot and the early afternoon game made it so nearly all three hours were in the direct sunlight, we enjoyed ourselves and were grateful to walk away with the win!

Later that night, we took Liza to a Real soccer game.  Tom’s friend Jeff gave us tickets, and it was fun for us to spend some time with Liza Bug.  We had a great time and the seats were awesome!

Whichever version of foot-ball you prefer, we were able to hit up both today.  It was a fun way to spend one of the last weekends of summer and a great way to make some more memories with family!
