This year we celebrated Halloween all month long with lots of fun activities!

Neither of us had been to Cornbelly’s at Thanksgiving Point before, but it was so fun!  For some reason it seemed more like a kids thing, but there were actually lots of fun things to do for adults, too.  We went with Danielle and Ryan and Chantelle, Austin, Emma, and Sami — it was a blast!

This year I introduced Tom to “Thriller” by Odyssey Dance… He was skeptical at first, but in the end he really enjoyed it!  Before the show we had dinner at one of my favorite Thai restaurants, Thai Siam, with delicious food and a yummy mango rice dessert!

Gardner Village is always fun at Halloween, especially when they do their “Witchfest.”  This year we went with Chantelle’s family, Danielle and Ryan, and Mom Turley.  We had a great time!  Tom’s family is actually part of the Gardner family the village is named for, so that was a fun connection to make!  We rode the train up, which is always an adventure, and thankfully the weather wasn’t too cold so we were really able to enjoy the festivities!

What Halloween wouldn’t be complete without some pumpkin carving?!  The Turley family held our annual “chili and carving” night the weekend before Halloween, and then we carved pumpkins ourselves the day before the holiday.  We went with the pregnancy theme, and they turned out pretty well!  We also made a haunted gingerbread house, which we’ve never done before but which was really fun!

Halloween can be such a fun time, and we really enjoyed celebrating it so much this year!
