We had a great time in Burley this weekend celebrating the Memorial Day holiday. We’re so grateful for all those who have given their lives in service of our country and in service of our family, and it was nice to be able to honor that this weekend. Plus, we loved the time with Grandma Helen and some of our other Bowcut family!
This past weekend we decided to go on a little adventure and head down to Goblin Valley State Park. It was fun to have a little day trip with the family, and even though we spent about seven hours in the car, the kiddos did pretty well. It’s so fun to make new memories together as a family!
The year 2020 seems exciting for some reason — a new year, a new decade, and a double name (two 20’s). Hopefully it’s a good one!
The month of January definitely has us off to an interesting start — ups and downs, but we’ve sure been grateful for our time together as a family!
Christmas is absolutely one of our favorite times of the year! Isaac especially has started to understand the excitement and joy that comes with Christmas, so it makes it even more fun. We love Christmas and all that it stands for and means, and this year was no exception!
Winter is such a fun time, and with babies who are experiencing the magic of Christmas, it makes it even more delightful! Here are some of the things we’ve been up to as we close out 2019 and look forward to 2020!
We had a wonderful time visiting Matthew and Emily in Italy recently. It was nice to spend some time with them exploring various towns in northern Italy!
That’s what fall is made of! We always love the fall season, and this year was no exception. Here are some of the fun things we did!
Run, run, and run some more… Boy, did we have a great time doing the Top of Zion relay this year! We trained all summer and finally the day arrived. It was such a great experience with our family and friends and we were so proud of ourselves when we crossed the finish line!
Last weekend we had a quick trip to Burley to celebrate Grandma Helen’s 77th birthday. It was a great weekend and so fun to celebrate one of the greatest women in the world!
Well we did it again — we hiked Mount Timpanogos! We did this last year and decided to make it an annual thing. It’s such a beautiful hike and we decided to go a little earlier in the year so we could hopefully see some of the wildflowers. We got everything we were hoping for and it was a great experience! Definitely difficult and there may have been some serious exhaustion toward the end, but there were also some really fabulous moments and an incredible sense of accomplishment!
