To say this last year has been great would be an understatement!  When we got married on February 17, 2017, we couldn’t have imagined all the wonderful memories the coming year would bring.  But here we are — one year later — and this past year has been simply a dream come true!  We’ve officially made it one year, which we’re pretty sure is longer than most Vegas weddings. 😉  It’s been wonderful and it was fun to be able to celebrate and reflect on this past year of wedded bliss!

We spent the day doing things we love, starting off by making breakfast together.  We then went to an endowment session at the Mount Timpanogos temple, and what a neat experience this was!   We arrived with plenty of time, but the session was VERY full.  We barely made it into the session we were there for, and because it was so busy, we ended up being able to sit by each other.  It was such a special thing for us, one we will likely never have again, and it was awesome that it just happened to occur on our anniversary!

After the temple, we went to an escape room with some family and friends.  It was so fun!  We didn’t quite make it out in time, but we sure had fun trying!  We then went up to  the Hotel Park City and Ruth’s Chris for dinner.  It was DELICIOUS!  Because they knew it was our anniversary, they had our table all set up with rose petals.  It was really nice!  We ate lots of yummy food — Tom had the blackberry venison and I had the roasted chicken, with brussel sprouts and potatoes on the side and banana cream pie and white chocolate bread pudding for dessert.  It was an amazing meal and a fun way to celebrate our first official anniversary!

It’s hard to believe that we’ve already made it one year as a married couple!  Sometimes it feels like this year has gone by in the blink of an eye, and at other times it’s hard to remember a time when we didn’t have each other.  Our anniversary celebration was just wonderful and definitely the first of many, many, many more to come! 🙂
