For Valentine’s Day, Tom gave me a gift certificate for a maternity photo shoot.  This pregnancy has been so special and wonderful, a gift that I wasn’t sure I’d ever have in this life, and we wanted to document it through an official photo shoot.  While the idea of taking pictures at eight and a half months pregnant made me cringe a little, it was something we really wanted to do and which we knew we’d be glad we did –which we already are!

We decided to get the photos done through a local studio called FotoFly, and they were amazing!  The shoot was on Wednesday, March 28th and mom and Danielle were there with us as well, which was nice.  The photographer was great and it was such a special experience!  I was emotional and trying to hide the tears so they didn’t smear my makeup or make my eyes swollen or red in the pictures.  Thankfully the pictures turned out really well and we are so incredibly glad that we decided to officially capture these memories!
